B.A.A. DISTANCE MEDLEY REGISTRATION TO OPEN MONDAY, JANUARY 26
Exclusive Three-Race Registration Window Will Open at 10:00 a.m. ET.
BOSTON ÛÒ Registration for the 2015 B.A.A. Distance Medley begins at 10:00 a.m. ET today, Monday, January 26, and continues until Thursday, January 29 at
5:00 p.m. ET (provided space remains available). During this exclusive registration window, runners interested in entering all three of the B.A.A. Distance
Medley events can sign up for the series.
Registration will be open online at www.baa.org, and will be limited to the first 3,000 registrants. In 2014, a total of 2,630 runners registered for the
B.A.A. Distance Medley and 1,755 runners completed the series.
The B.A.A. Distance Medley begins with the B.A.A. 5K on Saturday, April 18, followed by the B.A.A. 10K on Sunday, June 21, and the B.A.A. Half Marathon,
presented by Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund, on Sunday, October 11.
Everyone who completes the B.A.A. Distance Medley will receive a special commemorative medal for the series, in addition to receiving a finisher's medal
for each race. Each runner will also be listed on the B.A.A. Distance Medley Leader Board, which ranks the top male and female competitors throughout the
Each runner who registers for the B.A.A. Distance Medley in January will receive a bib number indicating they are a B.A.A. Distance Medley participant.
B.A.A. Distance Medley age group awards will be given to the top three finishers in the following age groups: 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44,
45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-70, 70-74, 75-79, and 80+. Age group category in the 2015 B.A.A. Distance Medley will be determined by the age the
participant will be on race day at the 2015 B.A.A. Half Marathon, scheduled for Sunday, October 11.
The B.A.A. Distance Medley registration window of January 26 through January 29 is only available to runners who wish to sign up for all three events in
the series. The cost to register for the 2015 B.A.A. Distance Medley is $200 USD.
The minimum age for entry into the B.A.A. Distance Medley is 14 years old. Runners interested in registering for only one or two of the three events in the
series must do so when registration opens for those individual races (see races dates below). Each of the three races will have its own maximum field size
Participation and performance details for professional athletes, including prize purses and bonus incentives, will be announced in early February.
