A tough final mile in the flat & sun-drenched (read: hot) Runner's Alley/Red Hook 5K, 'tho the women fared better than the more machismo of the men who went out at breakneck speed; hence, there was no change in the standings outside of everyone moving up as the Pub pretenders were kicked to the curb.

Kudo's to Ally Maslowski of Team Fabulous who could have moved up from 14th place but sacrificed valuable points to help a guy who was down with a seizure (Ally's a nurse...and fabulous).

It's time to work on a tan and pad the log book for the next few months before gearing up for John Santillo's 'Could be Hot as Hades' Common Fence Point 5M in August.
