The Cape Cod Summer Running Season will be begin on June 8, 2002, when the men of New England and beyond converge in Wellfleet, Massachusetts at the famed Beachcomber..for Big Man Run VII "The Gauntlet."

This annual right of running passage and passion for all men is a 5.8 mile road and trail running race that begins and ends at The Beachcomber. Big Man is managed and directed by an all-women volunteer corp and the race director..All women volunteers will receive the exclusive multi-colored "Size Matters" yeah baby!! tee shirts

This year's Big Man Run VII "The Gauntlet" will benefit Cystic Fibrosis. In addition, there will be a "Little Big Man Run" for boys that will take place before the Main Event.
