(St. Paul, MN) Midwest Events, LLC, is proud to announce that the Timberman Triathlon Festival in Gilford, NH will host the "Best of the US Amateur Triathlete Competition" Championship in 2005 and 2006.

According to "Best of the US.." PR Director, Jerry MacNeil, the Timberman Triathlon Festival is a perfect choice for the championship: "This event has everything that a first class championship race should have. It's venue on the southern shore of Lake Winnepesaukee is breathtaking; this is truly one of our sport's premier "Destination" races. And the event is expertly staged and managed and it's athlete amenities are second to none. "

The "Best of the U.S...." Championship race will he held in conjunction with the Timberman Sprint Triathlon on Saturday, August 20. "Best of.." participants will race on elongated courses, however.
