Despite Recession, Marathons See Record Growth

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – (April 16,
2009) – Although the recession has hit hard financially and psychologically,
marathons in the U.S. and the world, on average, have weathered the economic
storm well, particularly in participation growth as 2008 was another record
