Musical Race Director Court Bird Featured on YouTube

Following the 32nd Annual Cape Cod Marathon & Relay, the usual NER sponsored post-race bash featuring the fabulous BA-HA Brothers took place at the host Falmouth Inn from 3:15 to 7:15.

In addition to the music, the hoopla, the dancing and $1 Off Shore IPA’s or Amber Ales, celebrants got an unexpected treat during the band’s second set.

First off, Litchfield, CT kingpin Brent “Hawk” Hawkins took the mike for an impressive, even virtuoso, performance singing, “Hey Bartender.”

For the next song, “Honkytonk Woman,” long-time race director extraordinnaire Courtney Bird filled in on drums and it was captured on a short video by Relay Coordinator Russ Pelletier and posted on Youtube at the following link: Cape Cod Drumbeat
