NE Running Icon Larry Olsen Passes Away

A
ferocious competitor but a gentle person, it seemed Larry Olsen would
outlast everyone. Rarely injured, Olsen was like the Energizer
Bunny…he just kept on going…and always at a high level. He had some
memorable duels with Bill Rodgers at Falmouth.

It’s hard to believe but the preliminary posts of Larry suffering a heart attack while on a run with friends is confirmed in a release from the Metrowest Daily News below.
