‰ÛÏWe look forward to celebrating a milestone
for
Boston running ‰ÛÒ the 10th annual
B.A.A. Half Marathon ‰ÛÒ this year,‰Û said B.A.A.
Executive Director Guy Morse.  ‰ÛÏThe popularity of the B.A.A. Half
Marathon is testament to the popularity of
running nationwide, both competitively and recreationally. The B.A.A.
Half
Marathon features some of Boston and Brookline‰Ûªs most beautiful
parks and the Franklin Park Zoo, and these have been hallmarks of the
race since
its inception in 2001.‰Û Also since the race‰Ûªs inception, the B.A.A.
directs a
portion of the entry fees towards the Emerald Necklace Conservancy which
works
to preserve, maintain, and promote this historic park
system.

The B.A.A. Half Marathon is once again
presented by Dana-Farber Cancer
Institute and The Jimmy Fund. Through its Running the Race Against
