“More Than Gold” Video on World Champion Jenny Simpson

Check out the mini-documentary below on Olympic 1500m gold medal favorite and World Champion,
Jenny Simpson. The piece, called “More than Gold,” tells the story of
how a small-town Oviedo, FL girl became America’s
first distance running world champion in 28 short years. The segment
offers perspectives and interviews from those people instrumental in
Jenny’s development both on and off the track: family, friends, past
coaches, teachers, mentors, etc. It goes behind-the-scenes
with Jenny and those closest to her as she reminisces about the journey
that turned her into one of the greatest U.S. middle-distance runners
the world has ever seen.
