PITTSBURGH ÛÒ The City of Champions is adding one more to its list ÛÒ the 2013 USA Masters 1 Mile Road Championship to be contested at the GNC Live Well Liberty Mile on Friday, August 9. The Masters prize purse exceeds $8000, while the event total of $31,100 makes it one of the top three largest prize purses for the distance in the country. This is the first time since 1989 that the USA Masters 1 Mile Road Championship has been held. The GNC Live Well Liberty Mile is the 11th stop on the 14-event inaugural BBTM Tour. Festival of Miles Announces Field for Saint Louis Track Club Elite MenÛªs Mile | |

ST. LOUIS ÛÒ The Big River Festival of Miles presented by Under Armour, the sixth stop on the inaugural BBTM Tour, has released the field for the Saint Louis Track Club Elite MenÛªs Mile on Thursday, May 30. This yearÛªs field includes nine men who have already broken four or run the equivalent for 1500 meters, including Stephen Pifer (USA), Aaron Braun (USA) and Pablo Solares (MEX). Traditionally the highlight of the evening, the MenÛªs Mile has produced nine sub-4 minute miles in the last four years including the meet and State record of 3:55.29 set by Olympic silver medalist Leo Manzano in 2009. ÛÒ (May 22, 2013) ÛÒ The 14th Platinum Performance State Street Mile, to be held in beautiful downtown Santa Barbara on Sunday, June 2, is not only an event for children and adults, but also dogs. The event features a Dog Mile, the unofficial world championship for manÛªs best friend and the iconic distance. The event also features seven age group categories, the YMCA Family Mile, and the Elite Miles. Awards will be given in every category including $2350 in overall prize money with $250 for Open course records (3:52 ÛÒ men and 4:33 – women), plus Top Dog title bowl. DC Road Runners Club to Host the 2013 RRCA National 1 Mile Championship | |

ARLINGTON, Va. ÛÒ The DC Road Runners 1 Mile Track Championships will be the host of the 2013 RRCA National 1 Mile Championship. The event is the 9th stop on the inaugural BBTM Tour. The race will take place on Wednesday, July 24 in Arlington, VA at the Washington-Lee High School track. Prize money will be provided by both the DC Road Runners and the Road Runners Club of America to the top male and female 1 Mile champions.
