About Boston 26.2 Brew: Sam Adams first partnered with the Boston Athletic Association in 2012, and released Boston 26.2. Following the 2013 Boston Marathon, Samuel Adams committed to donating the profits from the sale of the beer to The Greg Hill Foundation, which provided support to survivors of the Boston Marathon tragedy and their families.
This year, the brewery is continuing that commitment and will donate profits from Boston 26.2 Brew in Boston and along the marathon route to The Greg Hill Foundation.
The unique beer is a Gose style brewed with salt and coriander and has a lighter body and slightly lower alcohol level than many of the beers in the Samuel Adams family of brews, making it appealing to both runners and spectators alike. Samuel Adams Boston 26.2 Brew will be available on draft only at race-related events, at pubs and restaurants along the marathon route, a limited number of pubs and restaurants throughout New England, and at the Samuel Adams Boston Brewery.
