Doyle’s a Pub Series Delight – Links to Standings

Well, not to procrastinate but the compiled standings from Doyle’s are just being posted before Pub Series stop No. 2 in Falmouth. There was a wedding…and then there was Boston…and then malaise…

 

So better late than never and never almost arrived.

(But there was a coverage crew on hand, Michael McGrane with pen in hand and Scott Mason with multiple cameras)

Usually I’d blame society but it’s really Michelle’s fault for having a sister in Florida and three male nephews, the youngest (Colby) of whom got married last year on the same weekend as An Ras Mor, and hence we missed out first Pub Series race in 20 years!

 

This April, the oldest (Kyle) got hitched on the same weekend as Doyle’s, so we’re stuck on Davis Island in Tampa on a sunny, 80˚ day, gazing out on the harbor while idly twirling the straw in our pina coladas, pining for the cold, raw clime we’ve come to know and love at Doyle’s on race day.

 

Ah well…

 

So here’s the good news, youngest nephew Tim is a bachelor at heart (at least for the near term) so we’re good to go with Pub Series attendance for the foreseeable future, starting this weekend at Liam’s Irish Pub Almost 5-Miler. See you there!
