McDonald gave credit to Hogan (Burlington, MA) for pushing the pace, but it was McDonald who would break the tape in 23:29 to lower ZAP Fitness star Josh Izewski’s mark of 23:32 from 2018.
Hogan-the 1st UMass Lowell athlete to achieve All American status once it went from D2 to D1-ended up duking it out with Tracksmith’s Louie Serafini before claiming second.
The BAA would sweep the podium as Erika Kemp, in her first appearance since the US Olympic Trials, logged in at 26:10 to lower Irish woman (and PC grad) Mary Cullen’s mark of 26:16 set way back in 2008.
